I didn’t take the typical path to interior design, but I see that as a strength. With a background in elementary education, I’ve always understood the profound impact our surroundings have on how we feel and function. That understanding took on a new dimension when in 2017, I was thrown in at the deep end, tasked with designing my first space - an NYC loft for a tech start-up company. It was then that I realized I could channel my passion for creating intentional environments into interior design, applying the same principles I once used to craft engaging learning environments for children. With a blend of creativity and resourcefulness, and a splash of “Champagne taste”, I brought my vision to life, and from there, one project led to another.
Since then, I’ve worked on projects big and small, from a one-bedroom apartment to a full brownstone renovation, as well as two commercial spaces. Along the way, I earned my Interior Design certificate from The New School in NYC, sharpening my skills and expanding my expertise.
Growing up in the UK, I was surrounded by rich history, eclectic interiors, and a love for color and pattern in fabrics, all of which continue to inspire my work today. I avidly follow design trends and seamlessly incorporate them into my work, ensuring each space feels current yet uniquely personal. I don’t subscribe to rigid design "rules" because I’m not a traditional designer. My goal? To work with each client to bring a design vision to life, because great design isn’t about perfection, it’s about finding the story to tell.
